The 20th edition of the Marathon du Vignoble d’Alsace is taking place on 29 and 30 May 2027 in Molsheim!
Already registered for 2026, looking for a race bib or unable to take part in 2027? Here’s everything you need to know about registration and our official bib exchange.
🎽 Already registered for 2026?
Good news! Your registration has automatically been transferred to 2027!
Your registration, bib number and race distance will all remain unchanged for the 20th edition of the Marathon du Vignoble d’Alsace.
No action needed! Your place is safe and sound. See you in Molsheim on 29 and 30 May 2027!
What about meals booked for 2026?
Any meals purchased in advance for the 2026 edition will remain valid for 2027.

Join our waiting list
The waiting list opens on 26 October 2026!
Want to take part but don’t have a race bib yet? Our official bib exchange could help you get a place from a runner who can no longer participate in 2027.
How does it work?
- Join the waiting list for your preferred race. Requests are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- From mid-November, runners who can no longer participate will be able to offer their bibs for transfer.
- A bib becomes available for you? You’ll receive an email inviting you to confirm your registration.
- Confirm your place and complete your payment within the deadline stated in the email. The bib will then officially be yours!
Please note: Joining the waiting list does not guarantee a race bib. Availability depends on the number of bibs offered for transfer.
Know someone who wants to transfer their bib?
Choose a direct bib transfer!
If you know someone who registered for 2026 but can no longer take part in 2027, they can transfer their bib directly to you through our official platform.
How does it work?
- The runner transferring their bib starts the process on the platform and enters your email address.
- You’ll receive an email inviting you to take over the bib.
- Confirm your registration and pay the applicable 2027 entry fee for your race.
- Your registration is confirmed! The original runner will then be refunded the amount they paid for their 2026 registration, minus any applicable transfer fees.
👉 You don’t need to do anything until you receive the transfer email. The runner transferring their bib must initiate the process.

Important: Only use the official platform!
Bib transfers are only permitted through the official Marathon du Vignoble d’Alsace platform.
Running with a bib registered in someone else’s name, without an official transfer, may cause identification issues and complications in receiving assistance in the event of an accident.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not have a valid registration in their own name.
🔄 I want to transfer my bib
Can’t make it in 2027? Make another runner’s day by transferring your bib!
From mid-November, our official bib exchange platform will allow you to transfer your registration online, either to someone you know or to a runner on the waiting list.
How does it work?
1. Find your registration reference
Before you start, make sure you have your 2026 registration reference ready. You’ll find it on your payment confirmation and in the registration confirmation email you received when you signed up.
2. Choose who will receive your bib
You have two options:
- Someone you know: Got a friend or someone else who would like to take your place? Simply enter their email address when completing the transfer process.
- A runner on the waiting list: Don’t have anyone in mind? Offer your bib to a runner waiting for a place. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
If there are no matching requests for your race yet, your bib will remain available for transfer until a suitable runner is found.
3. The new runner confirms their registration
The runner receives an email inviting them to confirm their participation and pay the applicable 2027 entry fee.
4. You receive your refund
Once the new runner has confirmed their registration and completed their payment, your refund will be processed automatically.
You’ll receive email updates about the progress of your transfer.
How much will I be refunded?
You’ll receive the amount you paid for your 2026 registration, minus any applicable transfer fees, provided another runner takes over your bib and the transfer is completed.
Transfer fees:
Until 4 January 2027 (inclusive): Free transfers. You’ll receive a full refund of your 2026 race entry fee.
From 5 January 2027: A €5 administration fee applies. This fee is paid by the runner transferring their bib and will be deducted from their refund.
Bib exchange closes: 5 April 2027 at midnight.
👥 Have a group registration?
No action needed for now!
Group registrations are being handled separately.
The Marathon du Vignoble d’Alsace organising team will contact group organisers directly to explain the available options and any steps they need to take.
