A unique atmosphere throughout the entire course
At Marathon du Vignoble d’Alsace, running is not just about racking up the kilometers.
It is a festive and gourmet adventure in the heart of typical Alsatian villages and landscapes, where each stop is a truly convivial break.
Between brass bands, musical groups, encouragement from volunteers and tastings, every kilometer holds its share of surprises.
The gastronomic and wine relays 🍇🍷
That’s the hallmark of the marathon!
- Wine tasting and Alsatian specialties with our partner winemakers
- A festive, musical atmosphere at every stop 🎶
These relays are open to all runners registered for Sunday’s races (Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km).
👉 Of course, it is not mandatory to stop at every relay station.
Everyone is free to enjoy themselves according to their desires and objectives: often, a few times, only once… or never, for those who came primarily for performance.
But one thing is certain: the unique atmosphere of the Marathon du Vignoble is contagious, and carries everyone along — even the most athletic.

🥂 The legendary Stop
KM 35 : the Dancing Stop 💃🕺
A legendary stop for those who still have pace in their legs.
At 35 km, the party begins: catchy music, dancing and collective energy… proof that you can be a party animal right to the end!
at kilometer 41.5: the Crémant stop 🍾
A few hundred meters from the finish line, the participants toast their achievement with a delicious Crémant d’Alsace.
A moment of shared celebration, even before crossing the finish line🏁
Costumes: creativity welcome👑
Humorous costumes, themed outfits or nods to the vineyard… every year, the runners outdo themselves in imagination!
Whether you’re alone or in a team, your good humor is contagious — and often rewarded. 🏅

Music and atmosphere throughout the journey 🎺
From local brass bands to DJs, choirs and brass bands, a great atmosphere is guaranteed all along the route.
Entertainment is provided in the villages along the route so that every participant, whether running or walking, can enjoy a lively and festive experience..
An audience that always shows up 🙌
The inhabitants of the villages along the route play a vital role. They decorate their streets, offer encouragement, organize activities, or simply…
a warm, Alsatian-style atmosphere.
