For our little champions
The Alsace Vineyard Marathon is also a great celebration for children and their families! Races with symbolic entry fees, tailored to each age group, are organized in the heart of the Marathon Village, in a fun, musical, and friendly atmosphere.
Distances per category (for guidance only)
- 4–7 ans : 300 m
- 8–10 ans : 800 m
- 11–13 ans : 1,5 km
- 14–15 ans : 2 km
🎽 Parental authorization and a health certificate are required.
📝From age 16, it’s time for the big challenges! From age 16, young runners can participate in the 5km Duo/Solo or the 10km, to get serious… or seriously party. 🎉

👨👩👧 Supporters are welcome to cheer on the runners from the sidelines.
🎁 All children receive a medal and a small surprise upon arrival.

Children’s races are the ideal opportunity to introduce younger children to running in a caring and joyful atmosphere.
Before and after the races, face painting stands, wooden games, ice cream and other entertainment await families.
While they run, parents and friends can enjoy the entertainment, tastings and stalls of the Marathon Village all afternoon.
